Hanuman Pooja & Chaalisa

Shree Hanuman Pooja is one of the most powerfull Poojas that devotees can perform to gain good health, strength and success in any field or endevour.

The Pooja should be done on a Saturday or Tuesday preferably when the moon is rising, and should be presided by a Vipra or Pundit. The devotee should at least fast for 21 days prior to the pooja. During this time a jaal of water, milk, sindoor, red flowers, tulsi leaves and white rice should be offered to Shree Hanuman Ji on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Hanuman offerings should include red Jaandis, red clothes or cloth offerings, five round golden brown crispy roat prasaad, bananas and other fruits, coconut, channa, sugar cake made with coconut and white till and sweet rice.

Hanuman Devotees should invest in a Brass Murti of Hanuman Ji to keep in their homes and to be used in their poojas.

One can wear white or red colthing to sit for Hanuman Pooja and should play the Hanuman Chaleesa regularly at home during fasting periods.
